When I saw happiness as a destination, a permanent place where I could live, it was so elusive. Momentary feelings of happiness were marred by always wanting more. But when I stopped to really enjoy life around me, beauty, my own senses, colors, and people, I found those little moments of enjoyment produced joy, and then they started to happen often enough to feel like a continuous string, and I think maybe that's the happiness described.
